Media Engagement Changemaker Award

Honours a Canadian doctor who is leading change in healthcare through media and social media communications and has the backing of an organization. This award recognizes the winner's work in the last 18 months.

 

Media Engagement Trailblazer Award

Honours a Canadian doctor who is leading change in healthcare through media and social media communications as an individual doctor at the grassroots level. This award recognizes the winner's work in the last 18 months.

 

Media Engagement Learner Award

Honours a med student or resident who is leading change in healthcare through media and social media communications. This award recognizes the winner's work in the last 18 months.

 

Making a Difference Award - Urban

Honours a physician in recognition of their work for marginalized communities in a city. This award recognizes the winner's work in the last 5 years.

 

Making a Difference Award - Rural

Honours a physician in recognition of their work for marginalized communities in a rural area. This award recognizes the winner's work in the last 5 years.

 

Innovative Practice Award

Honours a physician or team whose practice has found new ways to improve patient care. This award recognizes the winning practice's work in the last 5 years.

 

Interprofessional Team Award

Goes to the team (must include at least one physician) with different health professionals working effectively to advance patient care. This award recognizes the winning team's work in the last 5 years.
